It is the mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County to reach out to serve the thousands of young people who do not have access to other services and have a critical need for the kind of programs and services the Club can offer.  To do this, capital projects are underway to help expand the scope and facilities of Club programming.

Gifts for capital projects are wonderful opportunities to honor or memorialize loved ones through naming opportunities provided through major gifts.  Importantly, capital gifts ensure that Boys & Girls Club programming will have a home for generations to come.

CURRENT CAPITAL PROJECTS

Baker Technical Training Center
The Boys & Girls of Collier County seeks to promote successful first time entry into the workforce through both education and workplace experience.  As a Youth Development Organization committed to inspiring the youth of Collier County to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens, we have too often seen these children give up on school because they have yet to find out what vocation interests them.  It is therefore our goal to introduce our members to the wide variety of trades that are open to them, at a young age (starting at the fifth grade), in an effort to excite them about the various high paying jobs that are open to them.  Once our members get excited about a vocation, they begin to see the importance of high school and the importance of graduating.  Ultimately it is our belief and goal to see the Baker Technology Training Center as a major impetus for a stronger workforce not only strengthening Florida in general but also strengthening Collier County as a whole.

To be located on the second floor of the Arlene & Jerry F. Nichols Campus on Davis Boulevard, the Baker Technical Training Center will comprise an 11,000 sq. ft. area including construction/engineering vocational workshops, technical training multi-purpose classrooms, recording studio, performance studio and mini-clinic for teaching health related occupations.

To find out more about the Baker Technical Training Center, contact Cormac Giblin at 239-325-1714 or email at cgiblin@bgccc.com

Boys & Girls Club Immokalee Campus
Recognizing the enormous need for youth programming in the Immokalee area, the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County is kicking of its capital campaign to raise dollars to support the construction of a Boys & Girls Club Campus in Immokalee, Florida.  Similar to the Nichols Campus, the Immokalee Club will be a full-service campus to serve youth from first grade through high school.  The facilities will include art labs, science labs, computer labs, multi-purpose classrooms, commercial teaching kitchen, recreational facilities and so much more.

If you are interested in helping the Boys & Girls Club reach out to the youth of Immokalee, please contact Cormac Giblin at 239-325-1714 or email at cgiblin@bgccc.com
